Although they may not have the best of economies, Louisiana newspapers are full of news of the good and bad persuasion, allowing people to see the changes that are occurring in the state every day.

The National Park service has protected areas all over the state of Louisiana, even providing some type of protection over nearly 50 waterways in the whole state of Louisiana.
