In places like Southern California, Texas and other places that are more towards the southern end of the United States, travelers do not have the opportunity to see the seasons change properly like Michigan citizens do.

Michigan is also one of the more popular states to attend college in as well; the University of Michigan (Go Michigan Wolverines!) and Michigan State University (Go MSU Spartans!) are two of the well-known colleges in the state of Michigan that have top notch football teams. Central Michigan University and Western Michigan University are two other colleges that are well known in the state of Michigan.

The proceeds of the Michigan Lottery go towards benefiting the educational institutions in Michigan, and that means one hundred percent. There aren’t many other state lotteries that contribute all of their proceeds to education; this makes for a rather popular Michigan Lottery system, as people are not as willing to play and fund things like the Michigan Secretary of State or something like that.
