South Carolina
South Carolina is one of the original thirteen colonies that eventually went on to form the almighty Union. With the mild temperatures that South Carolina experiences, a great deal of tourists travel from all over the United States to experience what South Carolina has to offer. The climate in South Carolina would be called humid subtropical if it had to called anything; this means that the temperature doesn’t normally rise above seventy to eighty degrees and the house is usually mildly to medium as far as humidity goes.

The South Carolina lottery is run by the state government; the South Carolina Department of Corrections and the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, or the South Carolina DMV are all other branches of the South Carolina state government that are run from the capital of South Carolina, in Columbia to be exact. All of the proceeds from the South Carolina lottery go toward education, and benefiting the schools and other educational institutions of learning in the state of South Carolina.

South Carolina newspapers are full of news about the expanding nature of the economy in South Carolina every day. Real estate in South Carolina is going up in value, as more and more people are moving from the bigger cities in other states into many of the towns in South Carolina.

Columbia, South Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina are the two largest cities in the state of South Carolina, and it is where most of the major business and commerce take place in the state. Being that Columbia is home to the governor’s seat of South Carolina, needless to say that is where most people stop in the most or travel to when they are visiting South Carolina, or looking at moving there.
